Below please find a list of dates for the Autumn, Spring and Summer Terms ahead. We’ve also listed school and bank holidays.

 

Autumn Term 2024

  • Term starts for SLT inset: Monday 2nd September
  • Staff Inset: Tuesday 3rd September
  • Staff Inset: Wednesday 4th September
  • Term starts for Pupils: Thursday 5th September
  • Pupils and Staff finish school for half term: Friday 18th October
  • Pupils and Staff return to school: Monday 4th November
  • Term ends for Pupils and Staff: Wednesday 18th December (no teaching due to Carol Service)

Spring Term 2025

  • Staff Inset: Tuesday 7th January
  • Term starts for Pupils: Wednesday 8th January
  • Pupils and Staff finish school for half term: Friday 14th February
  • Pupils and Staff return to school: Monday 24th February
  • Term ends for Pupils and Staff: Wednesday 2nd April (½ day teaching)

Summer Term 2025

  • Staff Inset: Tuesday 22nd April
  • Term starts for Pupils: Wednesday 23rd April
  • School Closed (Bank Holiday): Monday 5th May
  • Pupils and Staff finish school for half term: Friday 23rd May
  • Pupils and Staff return to school: Monday 2nd June
  • Term ends for Pupils and Staff: Thursday 10th July

  • Term ends for Pupils and Staff: Friday 27th March (½ day teaching)

Summer Term 2026

  • Staff Inset: Tuesday 14th April

  • Term starts for Pupils: Wednesday 15th April

  • School Closed (Bank Holiday): Monday 4th May

  • Half term: Monday 25th May – Friday 29th May

  • Term ends for Pupils and Staff: Friday 10th July (no teaching due to prize giving)

How to apply

Burlington House School offers specialist support for pupils with specific learning differences, such as dyslexia.

Choosing the right school for your child is one of the biggest decisions you will make as a family, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
