Burlington House School are delighted to announce that pupils achieved an amazing 75% GCSE 9-4 grades across all subjects, including 97% in GCSE Combined Science. A quarter of our pupils’ results were Grade 9-6.
Pupils achieved 100% 9-4 grades in Art, Citizenship, English Literature, Food Preparation, Photography and Statistics. 100% passes were achieved in Performing Arts BTEC, of which 55% were Distinction or Merit level.
Special mention goes to Jared, who attained a Grade 9 and 4 Grade 7s, Jonathan who attained a Grade 8 and 4 Grade 7s, Fia with 2 Grade 9s, and Finn with 2 Grade 8s and a BTEC Distinction.
Principal, Koen Claeys, said, all the hard work and dedication of our Year 11 pupils has paid off. We are all extremely proud of the achievements of this year group.
Head of the Senior School, Matthew Potger, noted that pupils and staff worked incredibly hard together to fill the learning and confidence gaps created by the unprecedented disruption of the past two years and the results of these efforts are clear. We wish our pupils every well-earned success as they move forward to Sixth Form and beyond.
